Article I Name and Objectives
Section 1: The name of the Club
shall be the Pacific Northwest Border Collie Club (PNWBCC).

2: The objectives of the Club shall be

operated for profit and no part of any profits or remainer of revenue from dues
or donations to the Club shall not be appropriated for the benefit of any member
or individual.

members of the Club shall adopt, and may from time to time revise, such By-laws
as may be required to carry out these objectives.

- a. to encourage and promote quality in the breeding of
purebred Border Collies, emphasizing the breed's natural herding ability as well
as soundness; - b. to do all in its power to protect and advance the
interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows,
obedience trials, herding tests and trials, tracking tests and agility
trials; - c. to conduct sanctioned and licensed specialty shows and
matches, obedience trials, herding tests and trials, tracking tests, and agility
trials under the rules and regulations of the American Kennel
Club.
